Session analytics
Understanding the analytics dashboard for tagging sessions.
Session analytics
The session analytics page provides an at-a-glance overview of tag distributions and sentiment trends for a completed tagging session.
Accessing analytics
- From the Analytics section in the sidebar, open any session in the list.
- From the Tagging sessions table, click the Analytics button in the actions column.
- From within a Tagging session, click the Analytics button in the toolbar.
Analytics is available only for sessions created with automatic instructions that have at least one tagged message.
KPI row
Five key metrics are displayed at the top:
Metric Description Tagged messages Count of tagged messages vs total messages in the session Net Sentiment (Positive - Negative) / Total, shown as a percentage Themes Number of unique theme tags applied Authors Number of unique author type tags applied Manual Edit Rate Percentage of messages that were manually correctedWhen a previous session exists for the same instruction and brand, delta indicators show the change.
Sentiment drivers
The Positive Drivers and Negative Drivers cards rank themes by their share of positive or negative sentiment. Each row shows a stacked bar with the sentiment mix (green = positive, gray = neutral, red = negative).
Drivers only appear when sentiment tags have been applied.
Theme cloud
A word cloud where larger words represent more frequently applied theme tags. Hover over any word to see exact counts.
Charts
Three charts provide detailed breakdowns:
- Sentiment — doughnut chart of positive, neutral, and negative sentiment distribution.
- Themes — horizontal bar chart showing how many messages each theme tag was applied to.
- Authors — horizontal bar chart showing distribution by author type.
Insights
Automatically generated observations appear when notable patterns are detected, such as dominant themes, skewed sentiment, or low coverage.
